About Must Have Movers: San Diego's Trusted Moving Team
Must Have Movers is a licensed and insured moving company headquartered in Carlsbad and serving all of San Diego County. Founded in 2021, we operate under California permit CAL-T #192578 with a team of 15+ professional movers who have completed more than 3,000 relocations local moves, residential, commercial and long-distance from La Jolla and Encinitas to Chula Vista and everywhere between.
Our Story Why Must Have Movers Exists
Must Have Movers was founded in 2021 by Talant Akhmetbekov.
Talant was working as a mover to support himself through his master’s degree when he saw how low the industry’s standards could be — careless handling, crews that didn’t show up, customers treated as an afterthought. He started Must Have Movers to prove a moving company could work differently: hire only people with integrity and a real work ethic, and treat every home like it belongs to someone you know.
That standard still decides who joins the team. Every mover we hire is vetted for professionalism and trained to handle your belongings with care and respect — because the difference between a good move and a bad one is almost never the truck. It’s the people carrying your things.
